I realise this poll will sink even faster than my Procol Harum one ... but I am curious ...
I admit that I only know four of the six options myself (Refugee, Yes, Bruford and Moody Blues) ... but I'm now so seriously under the spell of Refugee that even Lee Jackson's vocals are starting to sound OK!

I like his solo album, which has improvised music recorded from a live TV show. The full-pianoimprovisation is great, but nothing to be compared what KEITH JARRET did few years before him. I go for the Yes. He toured with them for two years, and the livematerial from those gigis are also very good. I think he's at least as good as Rick Wakeman. Rick would have been better, if he wouldn't be so keen of alcohol, but no-one's perfect!

I'd have to go with Relayer as Moraz's best work, though I enjoyed his solo stuff. I have Story of I in my CD player right now actually.

I went with Refugee, because his solo work declined in quality IMO. I don't mind Lee Jacksons voice either, being a nice fan! Its pretty unique anyway! Hang on.......it ain't pretty at all!

I voted for his solo albums just to be different. I used to have his first album (I?) and would like to hear it again if I could ever find it.
Thought he was great on Relayer BTW. Much better keyboard sounds that Rick (but he probably wouldn't be so good on Countdown).

I love 'The Story of i', and rate it higher than Relayer and Refugee, so voted for his solo works even though his second and subsequent solo albums were not a patch on his first.

I think that Moraz has a interesting solo career... almost a pioneer in the electronic genre. I heard just a few records made by him but I think that THE STORY OF I and MEMORIES LIVE ON TV are the best examples of Mr. Moraz talent as a pianist and keyboardist...

Extrangely I voted for his work with The Moody Blues because:
- In 1981 The Moody Blues were not dead (But already smelling funny).
- He replaced Mike Pinder a 2 decades member
- Their first album with Moraz was simply a breeze of fresh air and one of the best from that infamous decade.
- The band kept alive mostly because his influence.
I find his job with Yes outstanding, but there he was working with a better band.

The synth on Relayer is just amazing. I even think it beats everything Wakeman did with YES, and I'm a major wakeman-fan.

His first solo album, "The Story of I" is fantastic. He was using brasilian rhythms combined with classical structures in a way nobody else tried for years after, and it's mostly succesful. The album picks up the energy from his Relayer solos and doesn't let go. I ordered it on Amazon, so it's obtainable. Still, I voted for his work on Relayer, because that's for me a peak of rock keyboards of any kind, matched perhaps only by Jan Hammer.
