Maybe. Zippy is perhaps the Fripp of childrens TV. Progressive, but angry, sarcastic and frightening. Rod Jane & Freddie, on the other hand were a major influence on Rennaisance with their chirpy, folky singalongs about shagging in hay lofts, drinking virgins blood and other such pagan nonesense....
