I adored Kate Bush in my teens (and I still like her). Canadian JANE SIBERRY has been my special favourite about 16 years already. Anyone here know her? She has also progressive elements in her music. Suzanne Vega and Joni Mitchell came around later but not as strongly. The big lady invasion came with my drift towards jazz and entertainment music. Swedish Jeanette Lindström is my favourite modern jazz singer/composer. I greatly enjoy good old entertainment music a la JULIE LONDON, Astrud Gilberto, Peggy Lee, etc. My recent listenings include Mary Coughlan, Jane Birkin, Juliette Greco, Dusty Springfield, ...

In prog that I listen women are far too rare. Renaissance (Annie Haslam), and some minor bands such as Affinity, Babe Ruth, Curved Air... (Strangers on a Train f. Tracy Hitchings disappointed me). Hints, anyone?
