ATOTT
I'd prefer a mixture of both. A Trick of the Wind maybe.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

Easy one for me - Trick of the Tail. Perfect throughout. Wind has a rather 'thin' sound to the production which predicted the more digital glossy shine of the 80's (much to the detriment of recorded music in my opinion). Hints at a more commercial future which only becomes apparent with the release of subsequent albums. England/Lamb/Trick is Genesis's artistic plateau for me. Of course, One For the Vine, Blood on the Rooftops and Afterglow go a long way to make up the balance...

Whereas I think Trick is a 'better' sounding album, and a much more significant 'accomplishment' post-Gabriel, my preferred album is Wind.

You guys really like to push people into tight corners! "Close to the Edge" or "Relayer", now it's TOTT or WAW. Both are absolutely brilliant. ..but to cut it really short (I could go on for days) my vote goes to WAW. It was the Genesis album that took longest for me to get used to, but then I've never looked back. The array of vibes and moods is just fantastic, one can really feel that Hackett left his mark on this album, possibly more than any other with Genesis. Even "Your Own Special Way" has its moments although I agree it is the "weakest" point in the whole album.

Trick of the Tail. Like most of you have said, more good songs and an overall better constructed album. WAW is still good, just not as good.

I've only really heard Trick of the Tail, and I like it a lot, so that's what I voted for...I have yet to pick up Wind & Wuthering!

Trick of the Tail is the only post Gabriel album up to par with anything done before, but still pales in comparison to the best Gabriel Genesis. Wind and Wuthering feels a bit lacking. Trick of the Tail is exactly what they should have been doing without Gabriel. More simplified, but still excellent.

A trick of the tail is better, because of the terrible "Your own special way" on Wind and wuthering. With that song Phil Collins started to slowely kill all good music. He finally completed this terrible crime when he released he's second solo-album . No single person has done so much damage for so many people in the music industry ever! Phil Collins: born in 1971, died in 1981 May God forgive him, I won't.

Close call but I think "Trick" edges out "Wind". "Squonk" and "Robbery" are a lot of fun.

Seriously, I consider the songs 'man mad moon' & 'trick of the tail' poorly written songs. The rest of the album is faultless though!

It's really not an easy choice, so it's a good poll. I voted for Trick, because it has no weak tracks on it. And not only that, but Dance On A Volcano, Entangled, Mad Man Moon, Ripples and Los Endos are some of the best tracks Genesis ever made. Still, I have to say, as years go by, my admiration for WAW grows, and I can see I'm not the only one. Especially Eleventh Earl Of Mar and One For The Vine are tracks that still move me, and the sound of the album in it's entirety is much more " open" than Trick's, but no, it has to be Trick, the yellow masterpiece. More variety, more classic tracks, and no weak spots.
