My new lyric for y'all:
From the moment I reached out to hold I felt a sound And what touches our soul slowly moves as touch rebounds and to know that tempo will continue lost in trance of dances

YES: 'Sound Chaser'
Now: " As I look from my window To the streets where you stand I am gazing through dark glass We can't walk hand in hand. "

Barclay James Harvest - Poor Man's Moody Blues
Casting the same steps glimpsing his own fate to come Melt in the dream void from which he never can run

STEVE HACKETT: 'Shadow of the Hierophant'
Now: " Bright above him shone the heavens, Level spread the lake before him; From its bosom leaped the sturgeon, Sparkling, flashing in the sunshine. "

Isn't that a poem by Longfellow?
Anywho, that's Mike Oldfield with The Song of Hiawatha
Now:
Complicated, escalated Visions always make my day Life happened while I waited For the truth to come my way

THE FLOWER KINGS - 'Silent Sorrow'
Now: " Stumbling, we go blindly marching on Bursting like a dream and now all gone In time I know we'll fly again. "

I love how Greg says Firewitch. It's kind of powerful.

I'll put in another one then
"A sacrifice for the people
An act of evil
Pleading to the stars
Deliver me from madness"

Yeah, that must be Ark's Noose, right?
Continuing:
"Back in
Blighty, there was you,
There were new men every morning
But these
endless shiny trees,
Never used to be that way."

And above all, is punk

Brian Eno - Back in Judys Jungle (Taking tiger mountain.)
BUT I thought the lyrics were "There were milkmen every morning"
(at least thats what the nieghbours wife used to believe)
NOW
"seems so essential
I bought you mail order
my plain wrapper baby
your skin is like vinyl"

the black cloud gathers & smothers my brain as i cry another tear in this struggle of pain

Anthrax - Metal thrashing mad (from their 1983 album Fistful of metal)
It also features a cover of Alice Coopers I'm Eighteen. Brilliant band
and album. Good choice
"Feeling like I ought to sleep
Spinning room is sinking deep
searching for something to say
waiting for the break of day"

Yours is no,
Yours is no, Yours is no disgrace! (damn, I just HATE Jon Anderson's Lyrics... They're simply AWFUL...)
"The sun burns in the stranger's eyes,
just one more tear before he dies!
Black mass can't ease the pain.
There's nothing here, there's nothing sane!"
