Title says it all. Not good for the integrity of the site, and likely to anger the artists as well.

Either not allowing reviews until the albums are released or just not listing the albums on the site until the official release dates would make sense.

I'm all for them being added in advance of their release date, but I would agree that the ability to post reviews should be suppressed until the album is officially available. If nothing else, it would demontrate that the site is not encouraging pirating.

How about only uploading it at the release date, and until then upload an announcement of the expected release, of course with all available information. Possible even highlighting it on the bandspage

A part on the bands page, that say "Soon to be Released" and maybe besides that a "Recently Released" part on the  bands page, or even available from the main page (like Gatot recently suggested).

Hope people understand what i mean, cause when rereading this I surely don't

work with me here, if you understand (or not),

I'm always almost unlucky _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Id5ZcnjXSZaSMFMC Id5LM2q2jfqz3YxT

Can't this be stopped? M@X, surely you could delete all the reviews of this album submitted to date, and block any reviews until the official release date? Thanks.

DREAM THEATER Octavarium progressive rock album and reviews DREAM THEATER - Octavarium (2005)
Review by Tom @ 1:03:00 PM EST, 4/22/2005
0 stars  —   To Rafael > You downloaded James' Labrie solo album, Elements Of Persuasion. The first song is called "Crucify". Dude, thats no DT! It proofs once more that you can't trust p2p. Sorry, had to rectify this review by Rafael. It seems that more people have made this mistake. I can't really say something about this album, cause it isn't out yet until 7th of June. So that's why I gave no stars. But hell, DT knowing it will be great! Ok, a bit fanboyish there... Ok, I've got plenty of trust and hope in these guys. Ciao!

DREAM THEATER Octavarium progressive rock album and reviews DREAM THEATER - Octavarium (2005)
Review by Rafael @ 11:20:41 AM EST, 4/22/2005
0 stars  —   There is one thing i cant understand about this album, why the song names have nothing to do with the lyrics? ie:The root of all evil, chorus says "crucify...." over and over, that makes no sense, is crucifiction the root of all evil? maybe the other people who downloaded the album could explain me, beside that, this album is so diferent, it doesnt seem like dt at all, the only thing about dt i recognize there is james labries voices, the rest of the instruments doesnt sound like dt, the guitar doesnt sounds like petrucci, it reminds me a guitar player called "marco sfogli", and keyboards sounds like they where done by matt guillory, very weird, i wonder if any other who downloaded this noticed that?, however, its a cool album, but not a good dt album, i wont buy this album cause its very bad, and i wont listen to it again, and if someone said i downloaded a fake, i wont care cause i know its the real one, i completely trust on p2p, and i dont need any proove that the album is the real thing before critizicing.

DREAM THEATER Octavarium progressive rock album and reviews DREAM THEATER - Octavarium (2005)
Review by Rafael @ 11:20:41 AM EST, 4/22/2005
0 stars  —   No, i didnt downloaded elemts of persuation, the crappy mp3's says very clear the track names of this album, and if an mp3 says a song name, than its the song no doubt about it, i have never listened to james labrie solo album, but i dont care, i wont listen to that album, i know i have downloaded octavarium, no doubt, its the real octavarium, i dont have to compare it to elements of persuation, cause i know its octavarium, i mean, the torrent folder was named "octavarium", i dont think it needs more proove than that, people, dont buy this album, is not good.

Who's this stupid Rafael !! He definitively download the wrong cd ! I don't like Dream theater too much, but I really think that the reviews post before the date of release should be delete ! See what happen !
