Lately i've been having alot of trouble finding ANYTHING on soulseek, and i was wondering what other alternatives i have (for full albums)... Help would be appreciated, because im hearing alot of great bands and not being able to find them anywhere on the internet, pretty annoying.

I as well just buy the album. You can hear :30 snipets of songs on most of your basic music store sights (Best Buy, Curciut City, etc.) Vintage Vynal is also very good for prog.

do you search in the actual progressive rock (or progressive rock/metal) rooms on slsk? It shouldn't be hard to find most things, unless you don't have the newest version, in which case get that. Plus the wishlist is ultra useful. All that said, the network does go through periods of being absolutely rubbish at searches, for no obvious reason. What is it you're looking for, for example?

Thanks for the tips... it hasnt been one particular instance, seems lately i cant find anything remotely obscure. Some days its decent, some days its awful. I've heard good things about bittorrent but havent had any luck finding worthwhile music torrent sites.

Question: Where do I find my music?

Answer: In my soul, that's where. Deep in my soul, because that's how the blues work, baby...

I know that one!

After a (how can one put this...?) good night in, I find my music on the floor, in the kitchen, in the computer room, in the bedroom, on one occasion by the cats' feeding bowls ( ) - as an anally retentive "only two CD's but they have to be in order" type, this frustrates and angers me greatly ; I then have to make sure all CD's in correct cases & reinstated to their correct place in my filing systems.
