My favourite Beatles albums are The White Album and Magical Mystery Tour...ok, fine, and Revolver. I think the Beatles are pretty cool, but they got way better after they started doing drugs.

I just got Sgt. Peppers on vinyl. I love all of there albums from that point on. I did get a CD of them with Tony Sheridan from their really early days when I visited France recently (I have yet to see it anywhere in the USA). It's got a few good tracks

Beatles are good from Rubber Soul on. The early stuff is too facile and pop-oriented.

Does anybody here like the song Dig a Pony? Everyone else I know hates that song. Apparently even Lennon called it "crap" I dig Dig a Pony.

That Number 9 Song they did is Defintely the most Proggiest Thing they've Done, Weird Orchestral Arrangment Strange Words Weird Sounds There a funny line in it saying "I've Just Been To The Dentist"

The Beatles created a new kind of music - POP. They are the link between Rock'nRoll, Jazz, Folk, Vaudeville, Blues, Classical music and melted it together to what we love nowadays so much. A Thankful listener.
