I would like to get some recommendations if possible, just a few if possible. Ive been interested in progressive rock for some time now, but my favorite two albums are king crimson in teh court of the crimson king, and PFMs first one which i cant recall the name right now. I really dig the mellotron, and the poetic/epic sort of vibe. the way the recorded instruments sound like on these two albums are, as far as im concerned, perfect. great tones. anyway, im looking for any other bands that put out similarly vibed albums from the late sixties, very early seventies. any help would be greatly appreciated. it doesnt have to be in english.

Try Genesis - Foxtrot and Nursery Cryme, particularly the end of Seven Stones on NC, which is one of my favourite bits of Mellotron.

Yep, I was going to say Genesis today (I forgot 'em- and they're my favourite band). Incidentally, Genesis actually bought a mellotron from King Crimson...

Another class mellotron band is Jonesy- their album 'Keeping Up...' is one of the best prog albums I've heard recently, and it's literally drenched in mellotron.
