.......you are definitely on the wrong site.Go with AC/DC though.GnR recorded one good album,never really lived up to their hype or potential,and wasted a lot of their talent in favor of superhuman egos,drugs and alcohol,etc.Even though all of AC/DC's music sounds the same to me they have held it all together for a long time and weathered some bad personal tragedies.

It's ok, but it's still a prog forum, so you will get a lot of replies simply stating that neither of them is prog.

I agree with TheProgtologist (as usual), AC/DC is much better. I basically recommend all their albums from the 70s - and "Blow Up Your Video".

Back when it first came out I thought Appetite for Destruction was quite good,and a breath of fresh air after almost a decade of hair bands.But it got old quick.
