I just found this in the Robert Wyatt Biography 'Wrong Movement':

Oct 28/1969- 'Actuel Music Festival' Amougies, Belgium

Soft Machine, Pink Floyd, Caravan, Blossom Toes, David Allen, Steve Lacy, The Nice, East of Eden, Captain Beafheart, Pretty Things, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Frank Zappa, Archie Shepp

This three day festival organized by Actuel Record label owners Jean George Karakos and Jean Luc Young was originally intended for Paris until a police filed court injunction moved the event to a field site just outside a small Belgium village. A 75 minute film document of the Festival 'Amougies Music Power', produced by Pierre Lattes, begins with the opening three minutes of Soft Machine's set ('Hibou, Anemone &Bear').

Has anyone seen this film or knows anything about it?

PS : I think Zappa mentioned somewhere, that the food supplyof the festival consisted only on Belgian waffles and 'green weenies' (frankfurters swimming in some green coated tank)

Hi Alucard,

Amougies is a small village on the Belgo-French corner (but in Belgium) but this was a festival organized by the French but they fleed to Amougies as they did not receive the final go ahead.

Amougies lasted from 69 to 73 !

I discovered some tapes at the Belgian state radio archives from Nucleus and Soft Machine on a CD-r  from 69 and 73. As for the Film , I shall try with my many friends at State TV (RTBF)

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

This film must be one of the best documents about this period. I will try to find out what has become of the producer Pierre Lattes!

"During the Amougies festival, Jérôme Laperrousaz made a documentary movie, Music Power, in which Zappa can be seen playing with Archie Shepp, Captain Beefheart, Pink Floyd...unfortunately never released because of copyrights."

According to a Pink Floyd book I have, this film is called 'Music Power', and was recorded on the 25th October 1969, with Zappa jamming on 'Interstellar Overdrive' yet was unreleased...

There's another film called 'Stamping Ground', which was filmed at the Kralington Pop Festival, with Floyd playing 'Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun' and 'A Saucerful Of Secrets', which was filmed in 1970. I think much the same line up played that one too.
