It's not that impressive is it? Actually at £27 - the cheapest I can find it offered - I really think I can live without it. |

Yeah, disc two sounds very nice. I thought the kick drum on disc one was way too loud but otherwise I completely agree with you.

Yeah, the bass, drums and vocals are fine, guitars are nowhere and the horns come in and out, though the Tarta Lamb tracks are actually very well mixed.

Listening now, on Blue Lambency Downward. Very nice performance but the mixing is very sketchy.

Physical media still sells extremely well in Japan, far more than in US ans Europe. Demand must have reached a point where it became viable over there.

Ditto. And wah?? First they claim they aren't going to release a CD because it doesn't sell, then they pull this BS?! Terrible. |

Having ordered this and now listened to the download I must say I'm fairly underwhelmed.
Kinda thinking I should have saved the money towards the Japan-only CD release of Hubardo that's just come out. Edited by Mascodagama - May 21 2014 at 14:13 |

7$ doesn't seem like enough for all that! I hope the low price drives up sales.

Beat me to it. I've paid for the 2CD version and am currently downloading the album.
I saw them about 2 weeks later when they came to the UK, amazing performance so I have high hopes for this live album. |

https://kayodot.bandcamp.com/album/krak-w
Description from the site: Recorded live at club RE in Kraków, Poland on January 29th, 2011 as part of Kayo Dot's winter tour with Tartar Lamb II and Jeremiah Cymerman, KRAKÓW features a unique Kayo Dot lineup that includes guitarist Ron Varod (adding synthesizer to the Coyote material) and drummer Johannes Döpping (SchnAAk, Tarentatec). KRAKÓW also features live arrangements of earlier Kayo Dot works ("Blue Lambency Downward" and "The Antique") as well as an early proto-version of the song "Lethe" (heard here before its inclusion in 2012's Gamma Knife). Additionally, KRAKÓW notably captures a rare recording of Tartar Lamb II performing the previously unreleased Movement 3.5 of Polyimage of Known Exits. "The place was really full, the audience was really supportive. Jeremiah had a great, deep experience reconnecting with his Polish roots. I also remember we got to play a long time, which is really special for us" - says Toby Driver. KRAKÓW is released in partnership with Polish record label Instant Classic and is the second part of Outlaw Recordings - a series of live albums put together with Radiofonia.net. A limited edition 2CD release of KRAKÓW is available though Instant Classic at instantclassic.bandcamp.com/album/krak-w |
