Nektar-cause i've never listened to Eloy(though i hear its a great band) or OT. I've heard some Nektar & liked what i heared.

Eloy Dawn

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

I don't really care for these much, most of this genre has that effect on me.
Crushed like a rose in the riverflow.

You mean 'stoner' classic.......
No, 3 tremendous albums, tough vote, but Ozrics from '90 to '2000 (when Hidden Step came out) are da bomb......
....... all that stuff is firmly ingrained in my psyche, but there's more to life than just OT.......

Hmm......I must have left an 'r' off there......Wink
I like Eloy but many of those around that time period sound alike to me....my favorite being Ocean.
And I have most of the stuff Ozric  did from Erp up thru Spirals but even though I like them there's something missing for me after a while and they become repetitive.....so I went with what I consider to be a psych rock classic.

I prefer Eloy over Ozric Tentacles. By the way Erpland is good too. I don't know anything about Nektar

Were it any one of a number of other Eloy albums, I'd likely vote there, but Erpland is a stone classic!

Like all three and got to know all three albums at about the same time.  I haven't listened to any of these in some years.  I really should listen again, as I'm thinking it's a three way tie right now.   Hmm, I'll give it to Nektar.
