The best band name remains Frumious Bandersnatch, the 1960s S.F. psychedelic band that borrowed the nick from Lewis Carroll. Too bad the band wasn't better, musically speaking.

As I am a longtime fan of that (defunct) band, I cast my vote for Angel'in Heavy Syrup.

Your Electric Grandmother just for absurdity.

I am currently digging:
Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!
Please drop me a message with album suggestions.

From this list...The Rancid Yak Butter Tea Party swishes my mop bucket just fine.

I actually own an "Angel in Heavy Syrup" album (an all-girl Japanese psych/prog band) but I voted for "Rancid Yak Tea Party". Reminds me of the old Ren & Stimpy "Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen" song

I went with Puddle Jumpers, though none of these really jumped out at me.

Actually, A Clean Kitchen is a Happy Kitchen as it made me laugh. Followed by Jumping Puddles because it triggers memories.
The rest are well, the rest.

I felt compelled to pick a band that didn't suck so I randomly searched until I found one I could listen to - and that was Your Electric Grandmother. I know the poll isn't about the music, but still. They're a little too modern metal for me but they're good.
