Larks' Tongues in Aspic (Parts 1 and 2), Red, Three of a Perfect Pair, Lizard, and parts of The Power to Believe are up there, but none come close to The Court of the Crimson King, so far my favorite KC song, which is from my favorite KC album at the moment, im still trying to get into their own music, but are underrated compared to other popular bands out there (obviously)

Red LTIA (either one, depending on the day) Lizard The Power to Believe (as a suite, if that counts. if not, part 2) Starless and Bible Black ITCOTCK The ConstruKction of Light Scarcity of Miracles Thrak Three of a Perfect Pair Discipline Poseidon Haven't heard Islands yet, so I have no idea where that would fit in. I must be in the minority here, since I actually like the track Red that much and Poseidon that little. It's just boring to me, and I'm not sold on Lake's vocals. I have complaints about that whole album, basically.

Starless is a title track although it's the title from another album.
Starless it is.

For me it will always be ITCOTCK. I think it's the finest track on the 1st album...Lake's vocal is great, the lyrics are dark, I love "The Dance of the Puppets" section, and the mellotron drenched ending is the perfect blend of order, chaos, and dissonance. |
Right on............though In The Wake Of Poseidon is a close second for me.

That's my 2nd favourite too

I'm not familiar with their most recent album, nor Poseidon, so I didn't list those. Larks' Tongues is one of my favorite KC songs of all (and one of the first that I heard). Islands is just a beautiful song, and one that I didn't quite get until after I listened to KC for a while. Lizard too took a while to really enjoy for me.

Red that high up? That's surprising. I've always thought it was the weakest track on the album, and probably one of the weaker ones in their classic era. |
Yes for me, I like it.
