I made a thread about that, about the unsigned section, but no-one answered it.
Anyway, good tracks. |

I would like to add that Aaron is in fact a CAT ... yes, a CAT. I have inside information on that. If you look very closely at the picture aaron-the-cat posted above you will see a picture of aforementioned cat (with cardboard angel wings) being abused by a steve-hackett impersonator. Perhaps this explains the growling death-metal grunts ... Sorry Aaron ... your cover is blown ... now time for some cat bickies .... |

I'm in awe. This album has changed my life. You're too good
to be included on the archives, we need to make a new site called
aaronarchives.com devoted entirely to this release.

Well it's not that bad. I keep on thinking that your guitar is out of tune for some reason or the song keeps on changing key or something. Not bad..I'd say Though I think it would be a great idea if we added a section on the progarchives site for unsigned up-and-coming musicians on this site. Then we could have a section for the musicians on this forum to post their music. |

Wow I would say You're Music is damn Great, brutal, progressive and very... ehm... profesional... In Fact... It sounds like Opeth!... Ow... Its just The new Opeth album playing in my winamp.. darn... EDIT: No, wait, this aqtually sound like a opener to an opeth song! Ad Growls and a death-metal blast for another minute after the 1st part and You can send that to Akerfeld! (maybe it'll be on the Ghost Reveries Special Edition ) The whole Suite is very dark and progressive... It coulde've easily be as a bonus on the Damnation CD.. So don't wait! Add death metal elements and send it to Akerfeld! Or leave the suite as it is and send it to Anathema or someone.... Ow, And by the way, I see You are a great multiinstrumentalist!!!! Your guitar is far more emotional then any prog players and Your Keyboard playing is far more technical then Jordan Rudess's... Your drumming are far more complicated then Pert or Portnoys... Keep up the Good (or GOD, maybe?) Work!!!! These Songs show the great multiinstrumental tallent of the man known only as ManOverboard...!!!!!!!! ***** - a masterpiece!!!! Edited by Ed_The_Dead |

dude, if we add Man Overboard, we're going to have to add Velvetclown, Cyggie-poo, Snow Dog MWH, fannydangle and everyone else that posts in "mariah carey" because that thread is the most prog of all.

First off, this isn't really a serious post... I've no real desire to be in the archives.
Here is a mini-EP I recorded in early 2004... about a month after I got my first guitar. The Iridescent Chatons (s/t) 1) In Life, In Death: a) The Decision -- The Sentence b) Sunsets Burn Into Nightskies c) Lament Of The Defenestrated 2) The Dance Of The Chatonnes All songs written and arranged by Aaron Jennings. Blame him. Guitar on In Life, In Death suite: Aaron Jennings Keyboards on Sunsets Burn Into Nightskies: Aaron Jennings Keyboards/drum programming on The Dance Of The Chatonnes: Aaron Jennings Keyboard generously lended by "The General" Recorded February 2004 at Glowing Kitten Studios Mixed/engineered by Aaron Jennings. Blame him. Any feedback on how awful this is? Again, I'm just takin' the piss... this not only does not represent a plea to be in the archives, but it's not even the my best material... it's from a few weeks of self-taught guitar.
