They sound to me mostly like a heavy psych blues band with some prog tendencies. Contemporary bands that are in Heavy - likes of Quatermass and Warhorse - their material is much more developed. I would put these guys closer to Edgar Broughton Band, not as bluesy and maybe not as progressive either. That band Sammy that David mentioned in the OP also included Keith Gemmell... so with links to Stackridge and Audience, I think there might be argument for Ginhouse in Prog Related. Don't really see that happening though.

Ginhouse - Ginhouse 1971 (UK, Heavy Prog) - There are simply too many new band suggestions appearing in the normal 'Suggest New Bands' forum for the guys to cope with at the moment, so I thought I'd air this one here instead - to gauge the reaction from everyone before making it an official suggestion for evaluation (should the general consensus be that they do indeed belong on here).

Music trio from Newcastle, UK (Newcastle upon Tyne, county Tyne and Wear). Years of activity - 1969-1972. Founded by former members of the band 'Household' - bassist Stewart Burlison, drummer Dave Whitaker and guitarist Geoff Sharkey. After the dissolution, Geoff Sharkey joined the band 'Sammy' & Dave Whitaker joined the group 'Kestrel'.
