I've heard the new only now. One of the greatest guitarists I've ever seen playing live (with Tony Levin at bass that time).
Really a bad year, this year.

Too bad!I was lucky enough to see him in concert two times in my birthplace,it was great!

I Was at Reading in 83 to ,  that was the year i saw Alvin play in a small pub near Oxford , Alvin lived in Sonning Common near Reading   he would often be seen in the local Country Pub having a pint With Dave Gilmour , they were 
neighbors  at the time. I remember  Randy California of Spirit was staying at Alvins place  he turned up at the pub one night to playing darts with Alvin and Ian Gilan

Seeing Ten Years After live was one damn big party! Alvin Lee was a great performer (and only Robin Trower made funnier faces while playing). When you say the words "Rock and Roll" that is what Alvin was playing.

Alvin Lee sadly died on 6th March it has been reported on his website.
