Disregarding the obvious, ie Animals and Ricochet, I thought I'd give a shout out to A Kiss in the Dreamhouse. Love me some Siouxsie.

Very interested in that Cocteau Twins one, but I must confess that this is the first time I have ever heard of it's existence.
The Fall, Cure and Kraftwerk also deserves a mention.

Umm gosh thanks Guldbamsen you are too kind!  I'm glad you like this selection at least.

The Cocteau Twins BBC Sessions is well worth having if you like them or if you are interested to know what they sound like.  It has a great selection of both earier 'gothic' CTs and later ethereal stuff.  Many very good versions of their songs (Two discsworth ) .

Uuhh that sounds positively intriguing. Might just have to get that Cocteau Twins record(who am I kidding - I need it badlyLOL)

I was listening to Victorialand this morning, and I rank it among my absolute fave releases from the 80s. Something timeless about it - even if some(a lot actually, as it turns outConfused) find it pretentious and over the top. Nonsense I say!

Hey btw Cheesy, did you ever get to hear Ariel Pink's Haunted Grafitti?

If not - here ya go:

it looks like Animals doesn't need my help with a vote, so I'm giving it to The Fall instead.

Ah no!  There is a CD player in the living room but nowhere for CD's to live.  So they get dumped on the floor until they go back on the shelves in the back room!  That's where they should live.

As they say in Liverpool...sound!Thumbs Up
