It's been more than 24 hours, so here's my solution:

Mike Oldfield's daughter Molly (after whom he named a track on his QE2 album) is a member of the crew of the TV quiz show QI (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1455419/), the music for which is by Howard Goodall (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0328759/) who also wrote the theme tune for Red Dwarf, which contains the lyrics, "I want to lie shipwrecked and comatose / Drinking fresh mango juice."

OK, I'm done. Smile

That's a good one!

But I did say it involved two people other than Mike Oldfield - not organisations. So, nice try, but not quite.

OK. This one involves only two people other than the one named:

What is the musical connection between Mike Oldfield and mango juice?

OK. My solution - ELO to Agro in five steps:

  1. ELO's bassist from 1972 to 1974 was Mike de Albuquerque. (He appears in the Showdown clip I posted.)
  2. Mike's solo album We May Be Cattle But We've All Got Names featured guitar played on all tracks by Ollie Halsall. (http://cherryblossomclinic.x10.mx/mike1.html)
  3. Ollie joined Eric Idle's Beatles parody The Rutles in which he played alongside former Beach Boys drummer Ricky Fataar. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rutles)
  4. Ricky later became a member of Australian band The Monitors whose sole hit, What Will We Be Singing In The 80s, featured vocals by the Blakeney twins, Gayle and Gillian. (http://www.cleavagedownunder.com/CDU/Reviews/Entries/2010/11/1_What_Will_We_Be_Singing_In_the_80s_The_Monitors.html)
  5. The Blakeneys went on to become presenters on the Australian kids show Wombat alongside...Agro! (They all appear in the Wombat opening ident clip I posted.)

No takers? It's coming up on 23 hours since I posted this one. If no-one takes a crack at it in the next hour, I'll post my solution.
