Sorry, I meant to update this thread some days ago, since I have been checking up on this one regularly (I know Chris from his love of UK soccer - and Wigan Athletic!) He was officially cleared for Crossover three days ago, but the third vote actually came almost a week back: http://progfreak.com/Chris-Picton-154770.html?path=pa/recent Just awaiting addition now.

Okay, thanks for bumping. First couple of tracks from the album, including the one Chris himself linked to above:

Heh sorry, but sometimes these things come off sounding rather soulless and androgenous. We just come across so much music that we have to base an opinion about in terms of 'proggieness' and whether it fits in on the site, that things like I said earlier suddenly pops out of you like a cold dead herring....
You are however sent for evaluation at the crossover team Edited by Guldbamsen - November 03 2012 at 17:34 |

Hhmm I'm not entirely convinced about the prog quotient here. Synth ornamentations don't necessarily equate prog rock, but I will send it by for eval, - and you're right about xover.

Another wonderful find from my point of view, Svetonio! The songs which contain vocals (eg the title track 'Still Life') could easliy be mistaken for long-lost Panic Room tracks, with the magnificent Anne-Marie Helder belting it out - they're that good! (Even though it's a different girl singing on the two songs here with vocals, they're apparently sisters, and sound very similar). The instrumental tracks on this release are excellent too imho.
If you like this stuff then check out the two albums (and a three-track single) that Chris did with the band 'Quecia' around 10 years ago, which consist of yet more excellent female-fronted Crossover Prog (featuring the same two McCarrick sisters who appear on 'Still Life'): http://quecia.bandcamp.com/
