Awesome! Have done radio work in the past but never at Phonic FM. Sent a proposal for a programme to DJ Something who I was told was the main person in charge of such things a few months ago and never had a reply of any sort. Would love the opportunity to host a show every month or fortnight as Phonic is a fabulous station and deserves a *much* bigger broadcast radius IMHO. Thanks for the links! Now that I know of your show I'll keep an ear out for it when possible, I tend to listen to radio online quite a lot and am looking forward to your next 'bonus' show having seen the previous playlists. If you fancy playing anything from the label I work for, that would be great! The Future Sound of Exeter play Dark Company sometimes and Ahum's Night Inn (or whatever Hum calls it these days) plays The b*****d Sons of Dennis and Clonk! and some other things. Here's a link to our store Bandcamp - let me know if there is anything you might be interested in and I'll make sure it reaches you in a suitable format. http://wudrecords.bandcamp.com/ |

Do you present? I host a Friday morning show and a monthly prog show on a Sunday on Phonic FM :D.

Do any of you ever listen to Phonic FM?
http://www.phonic.fm/ A number of their shows are very prog-heavy, especially on Tuesday evenings (UK time) if you fancy it. Phonic FM is our local community radio station and although their licence only allows them to broadcast a short distance over the airwaves, you can listen anywhere in the world online. I have to admit being a great lover of BBC Radio 6, especially after about 6pm, and especially Gideon Coe and Radcliffe and Maconie. |
