Hi Keneth. I haven't heard of them no. I love that you compared it to Alan Hull though, love Lindisfarne. Also love the Floyd and especially King Crimson. i think you may be pleasantly surprised by the second album!!

Hi, Just wanted to share this review from Pennyblackmusic website. i am really pleased with it to say the least!
Chris Wade appears to have incorporated a lot into his twenty-something years. The Leeds based writer/illustrator and musician has been involved in many projects over the years according to his website (including an audiobook with Rik Mayall), but currently Wade is concentrating on his folk/prog (his words, not mine) project which he has christened Dodson and Fogg. |

The more laid back acoustic track MEET OUR MAY is out now as a download single. It features Celia Humphris from Trees. The song was played on BBC Radio Scotland (Iain Anderson show) earlier in the week and is being played over the weekend on a few shows, so I am very excited.
Here is an Amazon MP3 link for the single, which is only 69p: Album is out on November 1st. Plus, 2nd album is almost completely done too, with more collaborators on board. The second one is much more prog rock orientated. Hope you get the chance to check it out...

Thanks Chris. Sounds nice from the link you provided.
When the album is released, get back in touch and tell me where you think it would fit on the site, and we will evaluate and (hopefully) add you.

Hi. My name is Chris Wade. I'm a writer and musician, based in the UK. Been writing a few years now, but recently got back into my music, namely DODSON AND FOGG, which is basically folk rock with prog elements to it.
Definitely sounds as if it was recorded in the 60s or 70s.
It features my songs, with myself on vocals and guitars, with Nik Turner of Hawkwind doing some great stuff on the flute, Celia Humphris of folk legends Trees, Judy Dyble of Fairport makes an appearance, as does Kzrysztof Juszkiewicz from a 70s prog group called Skin Alley.
If anyone is interested in hearing some tracks, the following link has samples on it, links to FB group and the You Tube account, as well as a pre order section for the limited CD. Album is to be released in November this year as a download and CD, but the CD can be pre ordered from here now.
Influences are far and wide, not wholly conscious in the album I dont think, but I do love King Crimson, Jethro Tull and there are echoes of all this I think. Also great to have prog and classic rock legends on board too. Was great putting this record together and I cant wait to do album number 2!
Hope you find the time to check it out!
