Wow, I'm excited for any new Enid release. Though as much I have enjoyed the Arise and Shine series I wish they would release another new album already, but maybe they just wanted to test out Joe Payne.

New THE ENID CD release "Shining" - Rise & Shine 3
The third in the "Rise & Shine" series of recordings, the album features completely reworked pieces from the back catalogue, as performed live in the 2012 shows. The album introduces new band member and lead vocalist Joe Payne, revisiting songs such as Raindown (Something Wicked This Way Comes), Summer (The Spell), and Salome (Salome). Extra care has been taken in the selection of each track, chosen not for their nostalgic value, but instead for the opportunity to prove how the band has developed (and continues to develop) with the new line-up. Just as the Live at Symphony Hall CD was produced in a trendy looking Digi-Pak, Shining also arrives in this glossy fold-out case. This new format does far more to compliment the tastes of those who value product quality, somewhat reminiscent of a record sleeve. Other features include song lyrics (old and new), a debuting message from latest addition Joe Payne, and an informative on the Enidi. 1. Gateway 2. Raindown 3. Tripping The Light Fantastic 4. Salome 5. Summer 6. Autumn Bonus Track: 7. Something Wicked This Way Comes Available as a physical disk from THE ENID from their online shop at http://www.theenid.co.uk/shop/ or a digital download from the usual sources from Monday 2nd July. |
