Topic: Zappa vs Sinatra Posted: June 07 2012 at 17:46
The difference is pretty vast... Hm I forgot about Sinatra's acting career, well really that doesn't mean much to me. Nothing against Sinatra but gotta give it to Zappa by miles

What? You don't find Zappa's appearance on "Miami Vice" as drug dealer Mario Fuentes to be a revelation?
havent seen it so can not lay my justice upon his acting preformance, i have seen two or three movies with Sinatra, and he was actuyaly quite good in the roles i saw him in, sharming, beleavable and he could also sing his parts where singing was needed and dance (not in Fred Astair level) but better then most

Zappa for me by far. Not probably surprising to most. I like Sinatra's music when I'm in the mood for that kind of stuff, but that's not often.

You don't think Sinatra is singing in Zappa's band in hebbin?

Let's just leave it at that...

I'm annoyed by Zappa. So it was an easy decision.

Hmmm...let me look at my collection here. Well, between Mothers and Zappa solo albums, I have ten. Sinatra? Two. Numbers don't lie.

No comparison should be mmade because their music are not the same at all. Plus Zappa is an extraordinary songwritter and Sinatra is a good singer but he doesn't compose.
