It's no big surprise you haven't heard about Halvdan Sivertsen, he's a beloved Norwegian folk singer who sings exclusively in Norwegian.
 
I'm actually quite blown away by that track, because it is so different from his normal stuff.
With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince.
With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with.

To be fair I'm probably biased. I'm an Alice Cooper fan and have always considered Alice Cooper (the band) to be small p progressive. Even so, the seamless working of foreign musical sensibilities into a modern rock context alone makes it better than the  Siversten ( which to be fair again I had never heard before to today) as a progressive piece.
