Auto buy.
I actually prefer the second album, Satellite, though I did love the epic track The dreaming from their impressive debut album.
Looking forward to seeing them play live again at Derby's The Flowerpot this Summer. Excellent live band.
Like the album cover too.

Hopefully this gets them back to a more prog vein like the 1st album and not a continuation of the pop sound of the second. The press release makes it sound that way. Either way, more Anne-Marie Helder is a good thing.

Panic Room are delighted to announce that they have finished recording and mixing all the audio for their new album, and it has now been sent off to the record label to start the manufacturing and promotion process.
The new album (Panic Room's third to date) will be released in June on Esoteric Antenna, Part of the international Cherry Red Records. Esoteric signed the band in January 2012 as one of their new frontline artists. 'S K I N' was recorded by Tim Hamill at Sonic One Studios in South Wales - the band's sound engineer and studio of choice - and mastered by Jon Astley at Close To The Edge (Twickenham, England). This is a brief extract from the announcement on the band's website - you can read the rest of it by following this link: http://panicroom.org.uk/skin.html. 'S K I N' is a dark and shimmering jewel, featuring 11 new and original tracks which all bear the hallmark sound of Panic Room - both powerful and intimate, passionate and playful, epic and yet truthful and heartfelt.
The album has a vast and expansive feel : gracefully weaving its way through rock-solid riffs and potent grooves, there are moments of intense power, heart-stopping gravity, and delicate beauty. This is the sound and dynamic of Panic Room... brought to a new level." The striking front cover artwork (pictured above) is by the Portugese artist / photographer Liliana Sanchez, whom the band discovered while recording the album.
