I found this iron-on on Ebay.  It gets a lot of looks, I think because lots of people mistake it for a girl at first.  (That's T Rundgren, in case you can't read the text)

Interesting.  I lost 80 pounds over the last year +, and I am finding shirts that I had given up as having shrunk over time actually fit again.  Big smile

I have that one as well.  But, its a lot too small now.  At least I think it is I can't get it over my head

That's a coincidence, I can't get mine on anymore either... they must've shrunk with age... yeah! That's what it is...

They can't be very good quality those 80s Ts I have this one which 'shrunk' too!

Mine shrunk with washing though I gruesome too.  Tip to the inexperienced: buy the biggest freaking size they are selling.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

My Faust shirt I had made through Customink. They're more strict now and wouldn't make any other band shirts I would've liked to have. I tried for a Gong - You, Parson Sound, and a Can - Tago Mago one.

I also like my Yes - Relayer, Residents, Gong - Camembert Electrique (glow in the dark) and Zappa - Weasels Ripped My Flesh and Chunga's Revenge shirts

...my trusty black "Brand X North American Tour" tee-shirt, worn here underneath my bloody lab coat (the joke was "I'm a gynecologist, but I had a bad day!").  I bought the shirt at a Brand X show around 1983 as I recall, Percy Jones wore the same shirt onstage.

This photo was a Casual Crobar gig, about 1988....we did a lot of Spinal Tap!  Loudest band in Tulsa, Oklahoma, ever.

I wore this same tee-shirt to a Sarah Pillow "Brand X"  gig in Chicago, Jan 2001, and showed it to Goodsall and Percy Jones, who greatly admired it!  Goods said that it would sell for a fortune in Japan!    It is comfortably retired now....

I also have this :

The thing with these for me is, I love Hawkwind, I love Barney Bubbles and his designs are, like you say, timeless,  basically because he was such a good designer who was well ahead of his time.

I still have the poster from the UA Roadhawks album ! I bought the album sealed from a guy at a clearing house sale for 8 bucks back in '80's. Had to have the poster!
