Would definitely recommend, no liking for their respective bands is needed to enjoy this release.

I find it odd that a few weeks before it was released, it was up on Spotify. I listened to it only twice sadly, and when I went to listen again they had taken it down. I'll have to buy it in the near future.

At least a dozen listens and this is certainly going to be on my top 10 for 2012 list. Really great stuff.
and yeah it's JR/F for sure.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

^ Agreed, had only really heard him in Suicidal Tendencies, didn't expect quite so much from him!

I don't think you can really argue for any other genre after that.

Indeed, that's what I suggested them for a few weeks back.

Just finished my first listen...wow!!! Best instrumental stuff I've heard in a long time. Better than anything in the 2010 crowd of very nice instrumental prog.
If there was any question, Tosin is definitely the most important guitarist on the scene right now.
Much proggier, jazz-fusion-y than AaL, though definitely "related."
When does it go onto P.A.? and in what genre?

That wasn't directed specifically at you, bro. Chillax, lol.

You guys need to listen to AaL's Weightless. Not much different at all (only with more energy) and, overall, a HUGE improvement in songwriting when compared to the debut, which is basically pure and unadultered guitar w**k.

I find this to be better than Animals. The musicianship is more subtle but just as good, and definintely more beautiful in all it's strange ways.
