Topic: Red or White? Posted: March 03 2012 at 15:16 |
Red.
Actually I share George Martin's opinion about White. Half of it should've never saw the light of day.

The White Album has more to offer, more to explore. Red, as an album, is all a bit predictable actually. Starless is wonderful, of course.

The white album is pure classic but red kicks your ass, spins your head and blow your arteries.

Both are four star albums in my book, but the Beatles album is ... closer to the heart.

No, the Blue's better But as it comes to the music: I choose Red. The White Album: I don't understand why so many people have that as their favorite Beatles album. I like Pepper and especially Abbey Road much more.

The White Album of course! It was actually one of the first albums of rock/pop music I ever listened to. Nr 9 left a big impression on me as a kid! My dad was a musical snob and only had classical music in his collection with the exception of a few Beatles Albums.

Red is more consistent but in reality I play White more. Vote is for both.

Red easily for me. Though the white album has "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" and a few other good songs... Red has "Starless", and just about the rest of the album is very good too (though I must confess I haven't gotten much into "Providence").

I was tempted to vote "both", but the Beatles included Obladi Oblada on their white album, so I voted red. And I seriously mean that there’s nothing that can compare to Starless on the Beatles album.

Gotta give the edge to Red; it's a great album from start to finish. The White Album is a great album, but there is is some filler there and Number 9 is unlistenable.

Though simple, I like the color combination. Voted "Both."
