Topic: YES - TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS Posted: October 16 2005 at 16:52 |
1. The Remembering (for the great second half from about 8 mins 30 seconds on...)
2. The Revealing Science of God (I know nobody will agree with this, but I think I might even like the studio run-through on the remastered version better than the originally released one.)
3. The Ancient
4. Ritual (Just because this is my 'least favorite' track off the album, doesn't mean I don't like it; I think I'd give the album about 3 1/2 - 4 stars.)

THE REVEALING SCIENCE OF GOD = 5 / 5
Ritual = 5 / 5
The Remembering - 4 / 5 (it takes too long to build up, but when it does, it's really sweet.)
The Ancient - can't rate it. i still dont know what to think of this track, but i know the ending sounded really cool

Great disappointment album (except for Ritual): without any sincere
inspiration, stretched untill it breaks, unnatural since the beginning
to the end

Ritual for me, but love them all. Probably my favorite Yes album.

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

I like them in the same order they were put on the album. Starting with the first CD, of course...

The gratest part of every song in this double album is the part when they finish.

Both The Revealing Science of God and Ritual are among the best they've done

Ritual, it was one of the first Yes songs I had heard and I immediately love it. It really stands out from the other tracks on the album.

Better. And it has Rick Wakeman. |
Relayer is better, it hasn't got Rick Wakeman!
