It's record store day!
Aesthetic properties (plausibly) supervene on physical properties. This entails that if two worlds are exactly alike in all physical properties, then necessarily they are exactly alike in all aesthetic properties.
However, the converse is *not* entailed, that artefacts aesthetically alike are therefore alike physically.
So, download the existential prog epic Somewhere Else for absolutely nothing.
Its costlessness may preclude satisfaction of a desire you may have to feel like you have *earned* something by paying for it, a feeling which may ground the (dubious in the digital age) attachment to physical artefacts, qua physical artefacts, as a conduit for aesthetic experience.

We just uploaded a sampler for our upcoming EP containing excerpts from
each of the tracks, have a listen and do share it if you like what you
hear. It's the closest thing we'll have to a single to promote the EP
prior to its release so any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Cheers

Thanks very much!
As it so happens, the newer stuff is considerably less metal-oriented and the next release will feature acoustic guitar and flute a-plenty...

I'm fascinated by your stuff. Not sure it's precisely my 'bag', but that's no bad thing. (Some great performances, though!)
I'm guessing I'll grow to love it . . .

Yes, 2011's the most accurate, though even now we don't have a drummer and don't perform live!

^ good enough for now Samuel, thanks, once cleared I will be putting things together e.g. band members etc. and post it here for any comment - when would you say Garden became a full band? 2011?

Sure thing, let's see...
"Garden began in 2006 as a personal creative venture for composer & multi-instrumentalist Samuel Bradley, originally the goal being to play power metal with a slight progressive twist, along with the addition of violin in stead of synthesised orchestral sounds. The difficulties of forming a band lasted some years, which would turn out for the best, as when Garden finally came to record their first demo in late 2011, followed by the debut EP a year later, the music was far more sophisticated than the original vision would indicate, having picked up influences from a variety of styles and disciplines through the years, as well as expanding the ensemble to include even more acoustic instruments alongside the standard rock lineup."
Well, not sure if that's any good. As you can tell there's not much to say. I've basically been writing songs in my bedroom until I was able to record them recently but if something's better than nothing then there you go!

Almost there, I don't see any problem in being added to the site - if you could throw in here a short biography that would be much appreciated

Hey DamoXT, been checking the progress at progfreak, what does the arrow for "move" indicate?

It means that the team considering the work for inclusion believe it is prog, but not falling under their own sub-genre for inclusion, so they will ask another team to evaluate.
It's called ping pong in some societies.
