It's nice to have a place to talk about "that freaky and annoyingly overblown music" XD

(Yes it's freaky and annoyingly overblown... but that's the beauty of it! Tongue )

You have joined the ranks of zombie prog pod people.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Finally, after months of lurking on the forums, I registered, hoping that my weird self could share and learn about great music here. Also, I sometimes feel lonely as a prog-head in real life, especially since i'm part of the demographic that listens more to boy bands and bubblegum pop than anything else Unhappy

My favorite band is Dream Theater (they've pretty much introduced me to prog a couple of years ago), but I also listen to a lot of other prog metal bands, as well as hard prog and symphonic prog bands.

I'm pretty open-minded, and I'm willing to listen to stuff that is out of my comfort zone (after all, isn't that what you do when you first start listening to prog?)

I'm sure I'll enjoy it here!

Cheers,

A fellow alienTongue

Welcome alien! It's also nice to have more feminine perspectives on such a male dominated site! Thumbs Up
