I'm reviving this thread because I added him to the archives a while ago ... you should really check out those samples - or listen to some Keneally stuff on his radio stream.

The Universe Will Provide is his best yet.  And that's saying a lot considering he has yet to put out a record that's not excellent.

I ordered it today ... should arrive next weekend ...  His latest solo record Wooden Smoke is not for everyone, a little like Nonkertompf. "Dog" and "Dancing" are brilliant, though, and Dog was released only last year.

Mike Keneally is phenomenal, of course I discovered him through Zappa.  The Universe Will Provide is the best thing to come out for a long time.
