Afro Celt are an absolutely superb band - if you ever get the chance to see them live, go for it; I saw them in a converted church in Bristol (UK); they played for 3 solid hours, and the quality never wavered.

From gentle celtic ballads, to full on African/Indian/Celtic fusion dance - they just went for it.

I only heard one song, so I can't really comment on them being prog... still, I liked that song a lot.

My background is mostly in Celtic and the Afro Celts are one of my all time favorite groups.   The way they have combined African, Celtic, and rock is amazing.  I think they are very progressive and was wondering what others who have heard of them think.
