Me too ... check out my playlist.

I also just released my own CD yesterday (shameless plug, but most who hear it have had really good things to say...)

I'll check it out. I'm sure Mr. Diddy would also be intrigued.

Lovin' the Whoopgnash, Mahavishnu Project and Jens Johansson, BTW.

My latest purchases, rated 1 to 10:

1. Talk Talk - Spirit Of Eden :  Still getting my head around it, but unusual.  I can see where Radiohead got some of their sound from.  A 7 so far.

2. Kaipa - Mindrevolutions: Very impressive Stolt/Flower Kings off-shoot project.  A very pleasant surprise!  a 9.5!

3. The Tangent - The World We Drive Through:  Another impressive (and jazzy!) Stolt side project.  Another 9.5!

4. Pendragon - The Masqurade Overture: I'm not a huge neo-fan, but I had not heard much from these guys...and this is supposed to be their masterpiece.  I am still drawing a conclusion, but probably around a 6.

5.  Bo Hansson - The Magician's Hat:  A keeper.  Mostly instrumental keyboard based prog.  A 6 out of 10.

Money must grow on trees around here.....

I just ordered: Focus - Hamburger Concerto ; Camel - Mirage ; and Steve Hackett - Live Archive 70's, 80's, and 90's.  I'm so excited!

BTW, I can't wait until the remastered versions of Hackett's first four albums come out in September, I better start saving up $$.

Visited one of the better prog specialists Ultima Thule in Leicester today - bad timing  since there was a West Indian Street Carnival/Procession on when I arrived and it took 90 minutes to get out of the jam and into a car park.

But as ever came away with some obscurities:

Cheiro De Vida : 1988, a live recordings of a steaming Brazilian jazzrock/funk trio - helluva of bassplayer (cross between Hellberg and Jeff Berlin). One for Danbo........

Exmagma: Exmagma/ Goldball twoforone - great german jazz rock fusion, somewhat canterbury/Machine influenced - and hey plenty of ring modulation. Thanks for the recommendation guys.

Various: The Letter-  An Unconventional Italian Guide To King Crimson - triple CD set 2nd hand for 12 quid, originally released by Mellow

Gnomen: Last Caravan To The Stars - a fiver 2nd hand but as yet briefly sampled jazz fusion.
