Indeed, this place isn't always the closed-minded prog-den it often appears at first glance, which is probably why I've stuck around even though my tastes have drifted further and further away from prog in the last few years. Incidentally, this thread has inspired me to do my own shameless copycat version, which will no doubt gain a much more muted response. |

PG 1 for me. That album has always struck a chord with me.

To be honest after I posted this thread / poll Ididn't think anyone would bother voting as its just a little bit too odd a list. However, I'm pleasantly surprised though I know I shouldn't be as I know what varied interests a lot of you have. Big Thanks for the nice comments too! (The Hemulen espec). I will check out that other PopGroup record Dean as I don't know it. I don't really know Y very well yet. Surprised Chopper didn't vote for Warpaint.
Catcher10 Are you sure?

What a brilliant selection of albums! I voted for The Bairns because that album is indispensable to both me and my ladyfriend, but Colossal Youth, Shleep, Camembert Electrique, Land of Grey and Pink, Y and Real Life are all firm favourites of mine as well.

PG1. However, special mention for The Pop Group, though "Y" is not my favourite of theirs (that would be "How Much Longer Are We Going To Tolerate This Mass Murder").

Plenty of stuff I don't know. I decided to count some Shleep.

The White Album is one of my favourite albums ever. So easy choice. But I also like the debuts of Peter Gabriel and Madness.

A lot of nice albums. My fave is probably the Caravan one, but it certainly doesn´t need the help from me. I´m gonna go with that Madness album. Reminds me of 9th grade and jumping.

Haven't heard all of them, but among those I did, I would have to say PJ Harvey's is the best. Not my favorite, though.

Tough choice between The Queen Is Dead and Spirit of Eden. Voted for the former.

You have to have listened to all these albums several times over before you vote!
Only joking vote for who you want If you want?
Bit of a mix I understand but hey variety is something something something...
