No but I'm having a chat with one of them on Last.fm :P Tell me when the artist page is up and I'll add the albums if you'd like. |

Actually, they passed.
He just wasn't sure if he could add them because their stuff is free, but I clarified PA's new policy on that.

They were moved to electronic, who doesn't use a chart.

There's definitely some post rock in the recipe (especially in the guitar playing), so the suggestion has valid support. We'll see what the other teamsters think.

The Moderate Picture is also pretty post-rocky, I think. As it turns out, I could be wrong.

Truthy, I just heard "This Is Not A Conceptual Album" and it sounds more like drone/ambient with some electric guitar and electronic percussion (good stuff for Prog Electronic, IMO, along Schulze, TD, etc.) rather than (post) rock with ambient elements. Is there another album that's post-rock?

I know the team has been flooded with requests as of late but I think these guys really deserve a place on the archives. This Pakistani (interesting, right?) creates post-rock that really is almost undefinable apart from post-rock. There are influences there but I don't think I've heard anything like this before.
All the albums are free, I suggest listening to their latest three albums as their first is humongous and not as straight-up post-rock. http://www.6la8.com/ That's their homepage and the download links are there. Thanks. |
