^Yeah, real shame. It was a great song too. Hopefully they'll re-post it soon.

Another new song streaming! This time it's Cylindrical Sea. Note: When you click on the link, you'll see that the title is incorrect.

Here's a video that DOES work!
Animals As Leaders, Intronaut, Dead Letter Circus, Last Chance To Reason, & Evan Brewer played live @ Launchpad Albuquerque on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011. The uploader says that this is the gig that was filmed for their upcoming DVD. Go to 2:42 for the actual start of the set.

No, the one from the http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/view/7733/animals-as-leaders-weightless-studio-update- site.
The embed code is: <object width="500" height="310" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" name="thevideo" data="<'>http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/flvplayer.swf"><param name="movie" value="<'>http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/flvplayer.swf"><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="scalemode" value="showall"><param name="quality" value="high"><param name="wmode" value="opaque"><param name="flashvars" value="config=http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/flvembed.php?viewkey=81e8c064774da6cdd98b"><a href="http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/view/7733/animals-as-leaders-weightless-studio-update-1"><img src="http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/thumb/7733_middle_big.jpg" width="500"><br/><strong>Click Here To Watch The Video</strong></a></object> I tried the flash upload tool with the urls contained in that chain of code above and used height = 310, width = 500, but got no joy. The actual url of the video itself is: http://metalinjection.s3.amazonaws.com/video/7733.mp4, but although that gives you a perfect video if you use it in the upload tool, it calls up the apple quicktime player, if you have it installed, as soon as the page loads, and runs without waiting for the user to click on any 'play' icon. Folks aren't going to take too kindly to that, so I've had to give up! I guess it's just as easy to go to the metalinjection.net site and play it from there. I'm wondering whether they've gotten alot of pushback because it's so not-metal. I liked what I heard, but it's not the kind of stuff most non-musician AaL fans are going to go for. I remember on the Facebook thread when the single was released, I was one of the few people saying "This sounds interesting." Most were WTF is this?

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I've said elsewhere I find the lack of new information about the TRAM album a bit troubling. Hopefully we get it soon, I am highly anticipating it as well as this new AAL.

^Yeah. Can't wait for that one either. The album's called Lingua Franca and they already put out the song Endeavor a few months ago. I haven't heard anything else about it since then.

Yes, the project is called TRAM and the band played at SXSW (south by southwest). Must more jazz fusiony, little metal, a little math rocky. Wind player (whose main instrument is sax) and the drummer once played with Suicidal Tendencies I believe. Should have an album this year. They have some sample trax already.

^That's really weird. It worked last night. Try this one.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005M2OE9Y/ref=dm_sp_alb?ie=UTF8&qid=1315850295&sr=1-3 And if this one still doesn't work, just search for Weightless on the UK version of Amazon under MP3 downloads. Edited by adace1 - September 12 2011 at 13:00 |
