District 97 @ Michael's Sonic Kaleidoscope!

Join Michael's Sonic Kaleidoscope next week (Monday 16th of May 5pm EST w/ Re-run on Thursday 19th 3pm EST) for a great show featuring the music and influences of one of the hotest Progressive Rock bands out there now days: District 97 and an exclusive interview with drummer and founding member Jonathan Schang!

District 97 released their debut album "Hybrid Child" last year to great acclaim and are about to embark on their very first tour in the US joined by Agents of Mercy for 5 dates and ending with a performance in Rosfest (http://www.district97.net/shows.html).

In the words of some guys you may have heard of:

Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson, Bruford, UK): I love the CD...the sheer skill and gusto with which they tackle it makes you laugh out loud. Great drumming. Jonathan plays and writes like a demon. Congratulations to them.

John Wetton (King Crimson, UK, Asia): 'Can't take you with me' is dynamite. I wish you luck, you're a good band, and deserve success, see you on the broad highway.

Roine Stolt (Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Agents of Mercy): Your band is one of the very few I can see a real true potential in and I'm sure you have many new fabulous albums coming in the near future.

This is a show you definitively cannot miss!

Michael
