Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

My current favourites are
Belew Fripp Magnus Ryan (Snah) Ian Thornley (not in a prog band strictly speaking but he is a fan of experimenting enough that I'd consider him a 'progressive' player) Nick Reinhart (Tera Melos) |

I stuck with the more traditional prog guys. I didn't include any of the jazz fusion guys like Al DiMeola, John Mclaughlin, Steve Morse, Jeff Beck.... All great players |

^ Steve Hackett overrated? How come? not only his work with Genesis is great (and it would have been even greater if Banks gave him some space and freedom), several of his solo album are amazing. overrated my foot...

Steve Hackett smokes many "prog" keyboardists with sheer complexity, I´m afraid of.

You may see a smile on Tony Banks´ face but that´s unlikely.
