I really enjoy both. Comparing them is silly, so I shall not do so.

I haven't listened to much Kansas, but I do enjoy Maudlin on occasions.

Ugh so this IS a new PA trend...comparing bands that are nothing a like. At least it's for silly lulz (I hope!)
Kansas is pretty cool. I like them. But one is classic/hard rock band with some proggyness and one is an avant metal band, with some stuff that really blows me my mind. Pretty obvious which gets my vote.
But which is which!?

These polls are getting old very quick.
I'll pick Kansas. |
I wanted to get in on the action one time before the style wore out.
Besides, I think it's an interesting pairing. I really do: Both use symphonic and rock elements, both have creative compositions, both have interesting lyrics, and both have violin!
|
Actually theres only about 3 songs that maudlin use violin. Toby's lot get my vote.

Spending more than I should on Prog since 2005
