Tell me about your local prog scene (USA)

   Hey guys, I'm currently in the beginning stages of planning a first tour for my prog rock band. We're looking to play shows mainly in Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, northern Florida, Alabama, or any other place in the Southeastern U.S. I was wondering if anybody from any of these areas can tell me what the prog or metal scene in your area is like. Bands, venues, etc.- anything related to the local music scene is valuable information. Even if you're in a band interested in doing a show together (will be beginning of summer), let me know.
