I have not heard them all, but I voted 'In the Region of the Summer Stars' It's a masterpiece of prog rock IMO.

I also love 'Six Pieces' and 'Airie Farie..'

Although, I would say that the song 'Summer' from 'The Spell' would be among my favourite prog songs of all time.

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I only listened to Aerie Faerie Nonsense, and that sounded completely unique and interesting, so I'm very curious about other people replying, hoping to find out what is their best.

"Aerie Faerie Nonsense" - if only for the divine "Fand"

BebieM - I don't think they can be compared to another band; utterly unique sound, a combination of classical music & symphonic prog - the idea doesn't always work 100%, but their recipe certainly did on Aerie Faerie Nonsense and In The Region Of The Summer Stars.

True English eccentrics, of whom there are far too few in music these days.

They are completely unique, can't really compare them with any other artist or band. Check them out, begin with In the region of summer stars You won't be dissapointed, I promise!

Special editions, as well as compilations, are left out, only "real" albums in this poll
