Leb i Sol - Devetka, you have to hear it and you'll see.
GATHER ye rosebuds while ye may,
   Old Time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles to-day
   To-morrow will be dying.

Carpe Diem!

Ahem. Wouldn't it be historically more correct to say TMV sound a bit like Van der Graaf Generator (whether the actual likeness is there or not)? After all, VdGG came first.

Yes, I second that "Ahem." No disparagement of VdGG, especially if it isn't even sensible.

Other good fusion bands: Brand X or Gilgamesh. National Health, Hatfield and the North and Soft Machine have already been mentioned, I think. I am usually not too fond of fusion, but this British branch of fusion, that is closely asociated to Canterbury, has its merits.

Oh, and let's not forget Matching Mole (interesting name, by the way. It was formed by former Soft Machine members. "Soft Machine" in French means "Machine Moll", and that was anglisized to "Matching Mole").

Which inspires me to start an interesting topic: Band names and what they mean.

Ain Soph and Aka Moon, perhaps? The former is a little more rock like, the later more jazzy.

How about Bubblemath or Mike KeNeally. It's hard to get any more complex, as in wild time signatures and bizarro logic.

On the jazzier side of things, check out McGill, Manring, Stevens or Bozzio, MacHacek, Pernifalk (something like that).
