Horrid, horrid album cover. Brilliant, brilliant album.
I find that most of my favorite songs are prog songs by artists who aren'ts necessarily prog themselves.
What a tough poll.

May I nominate Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti??? They made some terrific arty songs with a 70's feel in it on their latest albums(2009). Certainly check Fright Night, Round & Round and Little Wig(hilarious!!!!). Also check New trumpets of time.

by the way: there are a lot of glam rock elements in prog, an important point which is missing in our own site's iintroduction to prog. just look at the stage costumes of ELP or of Yes! Peter Gabriel's various costumes also are a very glam rock thing. Queen and Roxy Music are just one step away from glam rock. the prog-related David Bowie is an icon of glam rock. look around and you will certainly find a lot more examples Edited by BaldJean - December 30 2010 at 04:14 |

^So, I´ve found it before. To be honest, this is a kind of mediocre Glam rock band with certainly bad singer.

Great list. I voted for The Beatles-A Day in the Life. Can't go wrong with any of them really.

I´m afraid that this band is less well-known. But thanks for your tip, I´ll search for it.
