Just about 64-68 hours, over the course of a weekend, not a full 72 because I'm counting the hours I slept Friday morning before starting this.
It was almost three years ago, January of 2008. Friday was a normal day but I spent the night at a friend's house and we ended up pulling an all nighter watching movies or playing Gears of War. Saturday I didn't rest at all but that night I went to Target at midnight to get a spot reserved for when they got a shipment of Nintendo Wii's that day. It was -5˚F with the wind, oh that was awful. I waited from 12:00-6:00 until they gave us tickets, went back home, went to Church and ate breakfast, came back at 10:00 to pick up the Wii, promptly played it for a few hours and then went about my day and worked on homework until about 9:00 when I went to bed.

42 hours, 36 of them drinking. Slept then 6 hours and went to work. I had no hangover as i was probably still drunk when i woke up. Would not do that anymore. I was young at the time, 24 years old.

I had a friend who tried to stay awake as long as he could just to see what happened,it lasted about 60 hours
on the other side, about 5 years ago i was lying on my bed just resting, not feeling tired, all day i had this strange light headed feeling,it was odd but not disturbing. At about 1 pm i decided to lie down and relax,i was just lying there thinking of nothing in particular, the next thing i knew it was about 7 pm the next day.I dont remember falling asleep,i dont remember dreaming i dont remember anything it was simply one second 1 pm next, 7 pm next day, about 30 hours..
It was very disorienting but i guess my body needed to make some adjustements.

Over 48 hours, writing a psychology paper for university. I promptly got staph food poisoning afterwards due to a weakened immune system

I drew a 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM the next day shift last weekend, which I suppose is 37 hours. Fortunately the last 8 hours involved beer and football and the work part was over and done. At my age I can't do these too often.

24-36.
It was like a day and some hours. I'm pretty sure I've never actually hit 36 hours.

Over 48. I woke up early, drove to a friends apartment 2 hrs away, hung out there all night and didn't sleep for some reason. Then I drove back home the next morning and hung out with some people all day. Towards the end of this night I was talked into going on an ......lets just say adventure.. with a friend. You know, the kind of adventures that last between 10 and 12 hours, make things more interesting, make music absolutely dominant, and keep you awake for a long time. The sleep after that was perhaps the best sleep ever.
And eating wise, I definitely go through days where I look back and realise I didn't eat anything. I could definitely go two days without food.

A few years ago I played one of the strategic computer games more than 2 days without sleep. Meanwhile, I have forgotten, which game it was, and it did not happen again, luckily!
