Page for members only?

 

Maybe the mp3s could be uploaded to the site, and then stored on the server by the site admin. (That's the extra effort I meant   ).

 

I can see that it would probably be a lot of trouble to administer, effectively, and I won't be too disappointed if it does'nt happen, I promise !!

I agree with all of the above, maybe not the letter-writing 

I appreciate that it would take extra effort to (sort of) review the suitability for inclusion.

Maybe a warning for submitting unsuitable material, or spam, on the actual page, would be in order?

 

The way I envisaged it was...

 

If PA has storage space for Mp3s, members Mp3s could be submitted to that address, with just a link on the Members Tunes page that plays the tune back via a music player, or downloaded for further additions by other members. Sort of a Global song-writing forum. If members work looks like it might get stolen or compromised, then they've got the option of PM-ing each other.

 

Hope something comes of this......It'd be Kewell !! 

 

The PA Clipboard would be a good name.....just a suggestion.

 

 

I had a look through the Music and Musicians Exchange section, but most of the topics seem to link to sites for promotional purposes, rather than just presenting the sounds. I just thought it would be a good idea for musicians to be able to share sounds, and check out each others music, without having to link to external sites.

I did post this in another topic, but thought it was overlooked, as I did'nt receive a reply.

 

 Some people might not want a review or profile, or to be added to the database. Just a chance for other forum members to listen to what music other forum members are making. No copyright issues, there, as it's all original material, and sending an Mp3 for inclusion would be 'permission', in itself.
