Memento, the concept is great, the developing is not that great. TDK was great but I do find the last 20 minutes of the movie completely wasteful. BB is plain, good but not great. I think this director is good but not great, though I have a lot of expectaction to see Inception. Soon will be here in Guatemala.
I go with Insomnia, very underrated everywhere I talk about it. The pace, the concept, the developing, I think that's the best from this director. And, ha, coincidence, I have just get The Prestige yesterday. A friend borrow me it.

Well of course they don't make sense... they won't until the 3rd movie is out

Now seriously. I feel that Christian Bale, besides of being a great compromised actor, he didn't perform a good Batman, but it's the role, the script, not him. And TwoFaces, com'n, I was in the premier and just wanted to skip the scenes in which there wasn't the Jocker. I've heard Gordon-Lovitt will be Riddler, that would be interesting...

Funny, I wanted to male this poll myself! I just saw "Inception" last night, and it was unbelievably great. Amazing. Although TDK is another Nolan classic. But "Inception" in my opinion will go down in movie history.

I didn't really get the hype regarding The Dark Knight (apart from Heath Ledger's performance), but with Inception I'm starting to understand. As far as I'm concerned, it is easily Nolan's best. Much like Henry, I wasn't particularly convinced by District 9 (don't know why I'm writing this, it's hardly relevant ) but Inception managed to keep me glued to my seat for two and a half hours without losing its grip for a single second. Amazing script. Haven't seen The Following yet though.

I have seen Inception so many times, its just simply amazing. I work in a theatre and often get off at ten thirty and go in and watch it again. Four times. However the Prestige is also absolutely amazing, as are the Batman movies........I think the Prestige wins for me.

I haven't seen all of these, but I voted Memento. Of course the Batman movies are also great, but I didn't like The Prestige.

Memento and Prestige are "action based"?

I've only seen the last four. I think Inception is the best out of those, with TDK, Prestige, and BB following.

What if I didn't like District 9 that much? The story was neat but then it became silly and the action sequences really dragged except for the lightning gibs. In the commentary they said there was a whole day of serving eviction notices that they cut out, I wish they're replaced some of the Iron Man mech fight with that.
I liked BB, The Prestige, and TDK, although The Prestige has kind of a stupid story if you think about it too long. Somehow TDK feels less stupid despite being comix. I haven't seen the others. |
It has nothing to do with District 9, I just happened to like that movie
