Topic: Queen II VS Led Zeppelin IV Posted: March 25 2018 at 22:56 |
Nothing against Queen, but I think those albums are really in different levels, as you can also see in this poll. If there had been Night at the Opera from Queen, I think it would be more reasonable. So LZ IV was my vote.

Both are so lauded it makes one nauseous. Still, nice to see old classics still loved.

its a better than decent album... worth checking out if you're bored I suppose.

how is that a surprise? it is one of the most well known albums ever to anyone, as well as the best selling. i find the superior of the two here and gave the vote to it as a result.

Easily Queen II!
Without even knowing it at the time, Queen II probably turned out to be the first `proper' prog album I ever heard. `Orge Battle', `March Of The Black Queen', floored me! I'd never heard anything like it!! :)
So that album is very special to me still (even though I don't listen to Queen a lot these days).

Queen II. Probably the most underrated album of all time. Pink Floyd's Animals is a close second.
